Lucy Gardner!!! ;-)

So Lucy and I decided to do one more photo shoot before she heads back to New Zealand. We headed over to the courthouse and found some beautiful lighting and had a lot of fun.

What a beautiful day for a wedding!!!

Carly and Jesse were so awesome! I had the opportunity to shoot with Chris Humphreys today which is always so much fun!!! We started out at the Oceana Hotel on Cabrillo in this fun yellow room. All the girls were just so lively and having such a good time. Now, my second favorite lens is the 85mm 1.8, I think it was, first being my fish eye lens. I got some great shots with that lens that Chris shared with me today :) Carly, the bride, was ready early, which is so awesome, so we took her out to the pier and around and got some really fun shots! Then we headed up to Elings Park where they had such a nice beautiful quiet setting. They had cheesecake for their dessert and bbq for dinner.....mmmmmmmm! When they decided to say their goodbyes, they had everyone line up and blow bubbles and run through, which became my favorite photo of the day! Congrats Carly and Jesse!

Andrea's Birthday!!!!

So yesterday was my beautiful sister's 31st birthday. We all went to Opal Restaurant downtown Santa Barbara for dinner. We all had such a wonderful time. The filet mignon was mouthwatering yummy! My sister provided the wine and Anna's Bakery provided an incredible birthday cake! If you have never tried Anna's Bakery, you must! It is located in the Costco shopping lot in Goleta near the movie theater. This is the 4th cake we have ordered and oh so moist and rich! www.annas-bakery.net. Thank you everyone for joining in on the fun and celebrating Andrea's birthday! It meant a lot to have you all there!!!

My sister has these two cute little cats and they are such sweet sisters :) Makes me thankful that I have such a wonderful sister!!!

Santana Concert!!!

So I know that this is a very delayed post but I still wanted to post it. My sister took me to a Santana Concert at the Santa Barbara Bowl back in August. I had never been to the Santa Barbara Bowl before and was soooo excited! We get there and then we get our tickets and guess where we sat? Oh yah baby, FRONT ROW, FLOOR!!! WOW! I was so spoiled! What a blast we had! If I had known I was going to be in the front row I think I might have brought my camera. My sister had her point and shoot in her purse and had two shots left on it, so I took these! It was an awesome concert! Thanks sis!!!!

Steve and Caitlin's Wedding

I shot a wedding with DJ a few weeks ago and it was such a beautiful wedding. It is just so awesome to see couples so in love. I am so blessed to photograph weddings and get to witness such a special day!

Brooks Workshop with David Jay

David Jay did a workshop at Brooks this weekend and he took the class out to do a night shoot downtown Santa Barbara. The beautiful models were my friends, Jasmine and J.D. These are some of my favorite shots!!!

Pictage Partner Conference

So I had the wonderful opportunity to go out to the Pictage Partner Conference and see tons of wonderful speakers and also work at Gary Fong's booth selling his awesome new product the Lightsphere 2 Cloud and the Amberdome. http://store.garyfonginc.com/ I walked around and took pix with the Cloud and the pictures look great! It was so great to see so many familiar faces and hang out with friends. We went out to Sushi with a group of like 20 people and that was a blast. I didn't bring my camera to that but others did so I am sure those will be popping up on other blogs soon. :)

My friends and mentors, MIke Colon and David Jay both spoke at Partner Con and are always such an inspiration to me! I have had the privilege of working under the two most incredible photographers that I have ever met and am soooooo blessed!!!
