Sunsets......aaaaaaaaaah!

I just have to say, one of my favorite things in the world is sunsets on the beach. My other favorite is ice cream, by the way! ;-) I absolutely love living by the beach and being able to see beautiful sunsets all the time. So this past week I saw a sunset and had my camera handy and took some pix. There is really nothing that can compare to seeing the sunset with our human eyes, because no camera can really capture that color range! When I see a beautiful sunset, I think to myself, God must have had fun with his paintbrush tonight! Hahaha!
The little birdy in the picture was just like a little kid. It would run up to the water and then run back so it didn't get all wet. It was the cutest thing to watch!

I love weddings!!!!!

I am a little behind in posting pix from a few weddings I shot with David Jay recently. I just love photographing weddings so much. It is so fun being the second shooter. It gives me that extra mile to find something creative or a different angle than the main photographer. David does such an incredible job shooting as well. I learn so much from being around him and/or shooting with him. As one of the students in his workshop said, "David Jay, you are like the Jack Johnson of photographers." Or something to that sort. :-) I really love his approach to wedding photography. He just goes with the flow of the day and captures it how it happens and that is the way it should be! Here are some of my favorites from Peter and Katie's wedding here in Santa Barbara, then some of Alex and NIna in an estate in Montecito.
