Christmas Day in Santa Barbara

This Christmas we celebrated Christmas day in Santa Barbara with my parents, Andrea and Barry. And what a beautiful day it was. It was probably in the 60's maybe 70's. We had a seriously, incredible feast cooked by Barry and Andrea. I will be enjoying those leftovers all week! Love you guys! I am so thankful for such a wonderful and loving family. :-)

Santa Barbara Young Professionals Holiday Gala 2007

SBYPC always puts together an amazing Holiday Gala benefiting different charities. This year the event benefited Direct Relief International. I along with Andrew Van Gundy and Jesse Strigler photographed this event. This slideshow was combined with the 3 of our photographs. And I have to congratulate my sister for winning Best Costume-Cleopatra!

I got published!!!

So the latest issue of Santa Barbara's Scene and Heard Magazine has a page full of pictures from Andrea Shaparenko's (my sister) birthday party. Here is the blurb that they wrote:

"Andrea's birthday was nothing short of an evening of glamour and fun. The party was held at the ocean view home of Phil Butts. The endless fine wines and champagne were flowing throughout the evening with cases of Sunstone, Qupe and Beckman wine. Guests enjoyed blocks of gourmet cheese, dried fruit and fresh berries as well as hot hors d'oeuvres, salads and a variety of chocolate desserts. A guest list of nearly 40 people partied on the ocean view patio, all dressed in chic cocktail attire. As for the gorgeous, beautiful Andrea, we know she had the time of her life among her friends."
